Kunoichi’s Journey’s


Prologue:


A nine-tailed fox demon named Kyuubi came to the Hidden in the Leaves Village, and started destroying the village. Many people who fought Kyuubi had died. The 4th Hokage, Yondanime, used the Sealing Technique to seal Kyuubi inside a baby boy. That boys name is Naruto Uzumaki, and is now shunned by the adults and children who believe he is still Kyuubi in a human form.

Chapter 1:

In the Hidden in the Sand Village, the most powerful clan called the Ogata clan; a child was born with the Uchiha blood-line limit; the Sharingan! It’s hard to believe that she was born with it, since it’s mainly in the Uchiha blood, Ogata’s can be born with the Sharingan since they are descendants of the Uchiha’s, but this little girl was the first Ogata to inherit the Sharingan in over 150 years. The girl’s father knowing that his daughter was going to be extremely powerful since they had Ogata blood-line limits as well, which she had inherited, and that she would over-power him and possibly become Kazekage one day, he sealed a wolf demon named Miokshu inside of her. The Ogata’s had decided to name this girl Sasaki.
After 4 years since the birth of Sasaki Ogata, she had developed her Sharingan to that more powerful than her own father. Even though she was born with the Sharingan activated, Sasaki never had enough chakra to activate again until she was 2. She had brought out Miokshu only once and it was by accident when she was 1. On the night she turned 5; an army of Sound ninjas came and attacked the Ogata clan and anyone who tried to stop them. Knowing Sasaki had to live to avenge her clan, she fled all the way to the Hidden in the Leaves Village, Konoha since she heard her parents talking how Konoha dealt with the Nine-Tailed fox demon. But before reaching the village, Konoha, Sasaki was attacked by Orouchimarou. “I see you will grow to be extremely powerful. I also see you have the Uchiha blood-line limit, but you don’t look like an Uchiha, which means you must be the Ogata I heard about…Sasaki right?” Sasaki nodded to Orouchimarou’s question. “Come and get extremely powerful with me in the Sound Village little Sasaki.” Orouchimarou said smiling, holding out his hand for Sasaki to grab onto. As Sasaki reached out to grab his hand, she stopped and ran away. Orouchimarou just laughed, “You’re not going to get away that easily. I want you to become stronger with me in the Sound Village.” Using his Summoning Jutsu, he summoned his snake, which grabbed Sasaki and brought her back to Orouchimarou. “Now, will you please join the Sound Village or does my snake have to kill you?” Orouchimarou threatened Sasaki so cruelly at the age of 5, that tears began to pour down her eyes as the snake wrapped itself tighter and tighter around Sasaki making her scream in pain. As Orouchimarou walked up to the snake, he dug his teeth into Sasaki’s neck, black liquid coming out. Pulling back, Orouchimarou smiled at his work…for on Sasaki’s neck was a curse seal. Within an instant the snake fell to the floor, dropping Sasaki out of its grasp. Looking to see what had happened to his snake, Orouchimarou saw that his snake had three kunai in the back of its head. Looking at his dead snake, Orouchimarou just laughed. Out of nowhere a man with silver hair, and a mask over his face jumped down from the trees with a little girl in his arms, set her down and asked her to wait there. “Well, well, Kakashi Hatake, long times no see.” Orouchimarou mentioned, grinning. Kakashi stayed quiet for a moment. “Why don’t you pick on someone your own size, Orouchimarou?” Kakashi said coolly. Using his Shadow Replication Jutsu, created two more of him. Orouchimarou and Kakashi both pulled out their kunai’s in unison, and threw them at each other. Both of Kakashi’s clones were hit and disappeared in a cloud of smoke, and Orouchimarou got hit in the leg, blood gushing down his leg and into the grass. As Orouchimarou fell to the floor in pain, Kakashi threw two more kunai and a shruiken at Orouchimarou, the kunai hitting him in the other leg and arm, and the shruiken hitting him in the stomach. As Orouchimarou pulled the shruiken out of his stomach, he tried to pull the kunai out but when he pulled them out, he screamed in pain, coughing up blood. “Well it looks like the poison is beginning to set in now Orouchimarou. I had dipped those weapons in poison and now they’re spreading throughout your body” Kakashi said looking right at Orouchimarou. Orouchimarou stood up, wiping the blood from his mouth, grinning. “Damn you Kakashi. Fine I’ll leave, but you won’t win next time Kakashi, and I’ll see you soon Sasaki Ogata.” Pulling the last of the kunai out, throwing them to the floor and jumping into the trees, disappearing. As Kakashi reached his hand out to pick Sasaki up from the snake, Sasaki shied away for a second. “Your name is Sasaki right? Sasaki Ogata?” Kakashi asked her. Sasaki nodded. Sasaki noticed the little girl under the tree shadow, the little girl looked up, but Sasaki couldn’t see the face of the little girl. “Are you all right?” Kakashi asked. Sasaki nodded and reached her hands out for Kakashi to pick her up. “It’s OK now.” Kakashi asked holding Sasaki in his arms, going to the other little girl, and picking her up. Sasaki nodded tears flooding her eyes. Both Sasaki and the little girl next to her fell asleep in Kakashi’s arms.

Chapter 2:

Mizumi Kankuri was born with a blood-line limit no on else in her clan has ever inherited besides the Hyuga’s, for Mizumi was born with the Byakugan. The Hyuga’s are so far apart with the Kankuri’s, they don’t consider them relatives anymore. The Hyuga’s live in Konoha, while the Kankuri’s live in the Sand Village. When the Sound Village attacked the Ogata clan a little over 5 years after the birth of the Kankuri clan’s daughter Mizumi, the Kankuri’s job as second most powerful clan was to protect the Ogata’s. “Mizumi, you must run and hide. Run to the desert and stay there until we come get you.” Mizumi’s mother said, giving her daughter a kiss on the cheek, and running out the door joining her husband and the other Kankuri’s. Mizumi ran out the back door and into the desert. Watching the fight from the desert cave, Mizumi saw Ogata after Ogata, Kankuri after Kankuri, and falling dead to the hands of the Sound ninjas. Mizumi saw her mother coming towards her screaming, “Run, Mizumi, Run!” Mizumi ran out of the desert cave, looking at her mother who was only 5 feet away. With a puff of smoke, a Sound ninja stood behind Mizumi’s mother, made hand signs, and a giant sword came out of the ninja’s mouth, the ninja then shoved the sword through her mother’s stomach. Blood splattering everywhere; hit Mizumi over her whole body. Mizumi’s eyes filling up with tears seeing her mother killed so violently at the age of 5, made a big impression on her. The sound ninja looked at Mizumi, picked up his sword from the desecrated remains of Mizumi’s mother and walked near Mizumi. “I’m not going to kill you. You’re not worth spilling blood on my sword.” The Sound ninja said disappearing in a cloud of smoke. Mizumi decided to run, run all the way to the next village, which was Konoha. Grabbing her mother’s giant fan, she ran. Finding no one in sight when she reached the woods surrounding Konoha, Mizumi decided to stop, for she was completely exhausted. When Mizumi came to a tree and sat against it, she closed her eyes with her kunai held against her chest, and her mother’s necklace held with the kunai, with her mother’s fan lying on the ground beside her. Seeing her clan, the Ogata clan, and her dying mother made her begin to cry. Mizumi woke back up when the sun was just barely rising. She looked up and heard footsteps behind her. Scared it was a Sound ninja who followed her; she turned toward the direction of the footsteps, whispered “Byakugan”, and looked to see who was coming. She saw a man with silver hair, and a blue mask on, but she couldn’t make out the forehead protector on his head. She noticed he was reading an orange book and had flowers in his hand. Jumping out from behind the tree, she shouted at the man “Don’t come any closer, or I’ll kill you.” Looking at the man with her Byakugan, she noticed that through the mask, he had a Sharingan eye, but had a Leaf Village forehead protector. “Are you from the Uchiha clan, or the Ogata clan?” Mizumi shouted at the man, who just looked up from his book to down at Mizumi. “Neither. I’m from the Hatake clan. My name is Kakashi Hatake. You have a sand village patch, so you’re not a Hyuga.” Kakashi said to Mizumi. “No I’m not from the Hyuga clan, I’m from the Kankuri clan, but I’m related to the head branch of the Hyuga clan... very far apart related though. My clan is helping the Ogata clan in the Sand Village fight an army of Sound ninjas. My mom and dad are now dead; probably both the clan’s are dead now.” Mizumi said running to Kakashi, grabbing onto him. “It’s ok.” Kakashi said kneeling down to Mizumi’s eye level. “But I know my mom and dad died, trying to help protect me, and the Ogata clan.” Mizumi said, eyes now pouring with tears, still clinging to Kakashi. “You can come with me. I’ll take care of you.” Kakashi said, picking Mizumi up. Jumping into the trees, Mizumi knew she was going to get better, but not completely, for she had to avenge her clan’s death…especially for her mother. While jumping through the trees, Mizumi fell asleep huddled in Kakashi’s arms knowing what had happened was for a reason that she had to find out.

Chapter 3:

When the Nine-Tailed fox demon, Kyuubi, came and attacked the village, everyone had fought against him. Kinaki Osumo’s parents had gone to fight. When Kinaki found the bodies of her dead parents, she didn’t know what to do. Kinaki decided to hide in her home. Running into her home, Kyuubi came and knocked the house down setting the house that remained, which Kinaki was hiding in, was caught on fire. A man named Asuma had come and saved her. Bringing her out of the house, and out into the woods a few miles outside of Konoha, safe from Kyuubi, he calmed down the frightened Kinaki. “It’s ok now. What’s your name?” Asuma asked. When Kinaki looked up at Asuma, her eyes were different, Kinaki normally had brown eyes, but these eyes were like cats, but not yellow, they were blue. “My name is Kinaki Osumo. There is nothing wrong with my eyes just to let you know, it’s my blood-line limit. I have an Osumo blood-line limit, to be able to transform into animals without using any chakra.” Kinaki told Asuma. “That’s an impressive Blood-line limit.” Asuma told Kinaki, picking her up and carrying her to a tree. “My parents are dead. What am I going to do? I don’t have anyone else.” Kinaki said, tears beginning to fill up her eyes. “You can live with me. I’ll take care of you from now on.” Asuma reassured Kinaki. “When the fighting is over, we will take you back to what’s left of your house, and you can get the things you need, because I’ll take care of you from now on. How does that sound?” Asuma told Kinaki. Kinaki looked up at Asuma, her cat eyes leaving, returning to normal, and nodded at Asuma’s offer. As soon as Asuma thought the battle was over and it was safe to come out from hiding, he took Kinaki in his arms and brought her all the way back to what was left of her home.


It has been 7 years since the loss of the three girls’ parents, and they have grown up differently than they were supposed to. Sasaki is now full of hatred for the Sound Village and has never gone back to the Sand Village since her clan died. She now is stronger than her whole clan was, and is intent on avenging her clan’s death. Mizumi, also lives with hatred for the Sound Village, but had visited the Sand Village every year on the eve of her clan’s death. Mizumi has grown more powerful since then, but she is no match for Sasaki. And Kinaki has grown powerful, and has befriended Hinata Hyuga, and has learned to control her blood-line limit.

Chapter 4:

“Hey Sasaki!” someone shouted at Sasaki, who was in the training grounds, throwing kunai’s, shruiken’s while doing flips in the air at a block of wood. Sasaki stopped, looked up and saw her teammate Kiba Inuzuka and his dog Akamaru walking towards her. Walking up to the wood block, pulling the weapons out, walked back to where she was a moment earlier, activated her Phoenix Fire, wrapped her hands around one of her kunai’s setting it on fire, and threw them at the wood block, hitting it exact, she stopped and looked at Kiba. “Hey Sasaki!” Kiba said. “What do you want, I’m busy.” Sasaki mumbled at Kiba, looking at him with her Sharingan eyes. “You’ve been here all day.” Kiba said smiling, showing off his fangs. “So? What’s your point?” Sasaki said, showing him that she wasn’t in a very good mood at the time and she had her Phoenix Fire activated. Looking at Sasaki’s pulsing Phoenix Fire, he gulped and looked back at Sasaki. “Well don’t you think you should stop? Shouldn’t you be running out of chakra? I mean look at your arms, they’re turning green from using your Phoenix Fire too much.” Kiba said frowning, grabbing Sasaki’s wrists. Looking down at her wrists, she noticed her arms were green from the Phoenix Fire. Sasaki yanked her wrists out of Kiba’s grasp, using her Phoenix Fire to light a kunai, and held it out to Kiba’s neck. “Don’t touch me right now. I don’t want to be touched.” Sasaki said, letting the kunai down from Kiba’s neck. “Sorry I didn’t mean to make you angry.” Kiba said nervously. “It’s ok. Sorry I held the kunai to you. I was thinking about Orouchimarou again.” Sasaki said looking down at the ground, letting the Phoenix Fire run up her arm, to her shoulder. “Why do you hate the Sound Village so much? I heard we’re going to make an alliance with them.” Kiba mentioned bending down to put Akamaru on the ground. Looking back up to continue talking to Sasaki, he got a scare at what he saw, Sasaki’s eyes were wide open, her Phoenix Fire had covered most of her body now, and the demon’s chakra was covering her body. “What! We can’t.” Sasaki shouted fighting to calm herself down, grabbing Kiba with both hands by the shoulders. “Ow! Sasaki, you’re burning me! You need to calm down. Calm down!” Kiba said jumping back rubbing his shoulders. “Oh, sorry.” Sasaki said taking a deep breath, letting herself calm down. Looking at her body which were consumed by her Phoenix Fire run down to her hand, and deactivated, she took a deep breath. “Wow Sasaki, I’ve never seen you that angry before.” Kiba said, with wide eyes. “Because I hate the Sound Village.” Sasaki said taking a sit on an old tree stump. Looking at Sasaki’s arms, Kiba raised an eyebrow; “Wow, you’ve really bee working hard.” Looking back down at her hands, Sasaki noticed she had cuts all over her arms and burn marks. “Here let me help you. Wait, your calmed down right?” Kiba said nervously. “Yes, I am, don’t worry.” Sasaki said, extending her arms out for Kiba to help with her injuries. Cautiously reaching his hands out, Kiba opened a bottle of ointment to heal Sasaki’s injuries. Still nervous about Sasaki’s arms and the weapons, he slowly reached out for her arms. “Kiba, its ok, all my weapons are in the wooden block, and my Phoenix Fire has been deactivated.” Sasaki said reaching her hand out farther for Kiba to grab. Kneeling down on one knee in front of Sasaki, who was sitting on the tree stump, grabbing her hands, feeling that her hands were cold as ice, Kiba looked surprised. “Why is your hands cold?” Kiba asked, putting the ointment on Sasaki’s hand, rubbing in the medicine into her skin and cuts. “The Phoenix Fire uses my body heat and chakra and times it by 10. I don’t lose chakra or body heat; I end up gaining Chakra but not body heat. Once I deactivate my Phoenix Fire, then my hand gets really cold, but I don’t really notice it. It’s a pretty amazing blood-line limit power. Plus I’m using Miokshu’s chakra, which times it by 10 as well, but the chakra it makes, is an exact replication of Miokshu’s chakra, now mine. Pretty cool huh?” Sasaki explained, flinching every once and a while from the ointment touching her cuts. “Wow, that’s pretty amazing to have such power.” Kiba said, wrapping Sasaki’s hands up in bandages and putting the medicine away, and standing up. “Thanks Kiba.” Sasaki said, picking Akamaru up when he came over to her. Listening to Akamaru barking, both Kiba and Sasaki started laughing. “Akamaru said that the wood block looks like Naruto after Sakura punches him.” Kiba said laughing. Sasaki looked at Kiba, and shook her head, “I heard him Kiba. What did you think I was laughing about?” Sasaki said. Kiba’s eye opened wide and was shocked.

Chapter 5:

“Hey Mizumi, where’s Choji?” Shikamaru said leaning up against a tree out in the woods, watching his teammate Mizumi doing flips, having practice with Asuma sensei. “Do you really need to ask? Honestly, he doesn’t need to tell us where he’s going and yet I still know…Barbeque!” Mizumi said, in broken words, jumping from Asuma’s attacks one after another, and hitting him with her palm, which was surrounded by blue fire, stopping his chakra flow to where he couldn’t even move his arms. “Damn Mizumi, you beat me again. I’m supposed to be your sensei and teach you, but you end up beating me up. How am I supposed to teach you if you keep doing that?” Asuma said. Standing upside down on a tree branch, Mizumi crossed her arms, looked at Asuma, and flipped back down landing on all fours. “I’m able to beat you because I’m full of hatred and anger and you’re not. In order to be strong, you need to have hatred.” Mizumi said walking right past Asuma sensei, not looking at him, grabbed Shikamaru by the hand, not stopping, and walked out of the woods. “Come on Shikamaru, I’ll treat you and me to some ramen, then we’ll go get Choji.” Mizumi said pulling Shikamaru along until he got his balance. As Mizumi and Shikamaru left, Asuma sat on the ground head tilted in confusion. “I wonder why she is like the way she is…she is such a pretty girl, but she’s full of hatred and anger.” Asuma said, shaking his head, falling onto his back, and falling asleep.
“Hey old man, I’ll have miso ramen with chicken…Shikamaru what do you want?” Mizumi asked grabbing her wallet, and taking two coupons out of the wallet, gave one to the old man and handed the other to Shikamaru. As Shikamaru took the coupon he read the coupon, it said one free ramen bowl. “I’ll have the same as you.” Shikamaru said handing the coupon to the old man. “Hey old man, make that 2 miso ramen with chicken.” Mizumi shouted at the old man who was standing in the back of the kitchen cooking the food. “So, your training is getting better I see.” Shikamaru said as they waited for their food. “Yea thanks, why don’t you learn more genjutsu, or ninjutsu?” Mizumi asked as the old man brought their food to them. “I don’t know. It’d be a drag to learn them I guess.” Shikamaru said, slurping noodles into his mouth, the noodles hitting him in the face splattering the ramen juice all over his face. Seeing Shikamaru get splashed with the ramen juice on his face reminded her of seeing her mother dying in front of her, and how her mother’s blood was splattered all over Mizumi. Remembering this, Mizumi faced the bowl in front of her, her hair dangling over her food, and began to cry. Seeing Mizumi crying, he put his hand on Mizumi’s back “What’s wrong Mizumi?” Shikamaru asked. But as soon as his hand touched her back, she jerked away violently from him. “Don’t touch me.” Mizumi told him. Not knowing if he had done something or something happened to her, he just looked at her. “Hey Mizumi, what’s wrong? Did I do something?” Shikamaru asked leaning over his chair towards Mizumi. Mizumi just giggled for a moment. “No, no you did nothing. I’m sorry, I just had a sad memory flash back for a second.” Mizumi said leaning into Shikamaru. Noticing what Mizumi had done, he smiled and hugged her. “Hey Mizumi, why don’t we finish up her and go get Choji.” Shikamaru asked, pulling her out of the hug, wiping the tear off of her cheek. Mizumi nodded, smiled and sat back down in her seat. For the rest of the time, they ate, laughed, and talked. Mizumi and Shikamaru had completely forgotten about the outburst of crying from Mizumi. When they finished eating, they left and as Mizumi had said, Choji was at the Barbeque house, eating his heart out.

Chapter 6:

“Ok listen up my pupils! We’re going to be doing a survival exercise…I know Kakashi has already done this with his group…but you three are going to make this a test.” Gai sensei said to his group of three; Neji Hyuga, Kinaki Osumo, and Rock Lee. “Well why could we not eat?” Kinaki asked Gai sensei, rubbing her stomach. “I don’t want you to eat because…your reward is food, plus it’s for motivation. You must retrieve at least one bell by noon, or you can’t eat. Everyone understand?” Gai asked tying two bells to his belt. The three kids nodded in agreement. “OK, it’s already 10 ‘o’ clock, I suggest you get started.” Gai said jumping into the trees. Jumping into the trees after Gai, Neji, Lee, and Kinaki went into the trees. “We need to find a way to get the bells off of him.” Neji said. Kinaki nodded, looking at Neji. “Right.” Lee said. “Lee, you distract him, while I get the bells off of him. And Kinaki, you help Lee.” Neji said looking at his teammates. Nodding in approval Lee and Kinaki sped up. Remembering her blood-line limit, she stopped and waited for a moment. Noticing Kinaki wasn’t between them, Neji and Lee stopped, turned around and looked at Kinaki. “What are you doing Kinaki? Lee asked. “Wait, I’ll use my blood-line limit power. Besides, it’s not even 10:30 yet, we have plenty of time. Just watch this.” Kinaki said, closing her eyes, took a deep breath, shouting “eagle” and opening her eyes at the same time. Neji and Lee were thrown back by the air pressure coming from Kinaki’s eyes. When they got back up, they looked at Kinaki’s eye’s; they were bright blue, and not brown like she normally had, but bright blue with a black slit down the middle like a cat eye…a bright light came up from Kinaki’s feet and started flying around everywhere, making Kinaki rise into the air. Before Lee, Neji, and though Gai was a few feet away, he could see Kinaki rising in the air perfectly, but before their eyes, Kinaki started growing feathers, a beak, wings, and talons. As Kinaki started coming back to the ground, she began to shrink. Realizing she was going to be done transforming, Gai decided to run so his team couldn’t get him. When the light was gone, where Kinaki stood, an eagle stood in her place. “Neji, Lee, I’m done transforming we can go get the bells off of Gai-sensei.” Kinaki, who was an eagle, said taking off, swooping down to pick up Lee, and Neji by the shoulders. As they came up behind Gai, Kinaki dropped Neji on Gai, but Gai had fought with Neji, and threw Neji off his back. “Lee, it’s your turn, ready?” Kinaki asked him. “Yes, let’s do it.” Lee said, nodding. Kinaki dropped Lee on Gai, who threw Lee off as well. Turning around and flying back towards Gai, Kinaki picked up speed, swooping down and knocked Gai off his feet. “Heyaaa!” Gai said, punching Kinaki in the stomach. Tumbling over, and over again, Kinaki landed on the ground knocked out. The white light came back and surrounded Kinaki, but not raising her up in the air, When the light disappeared, Kinaki was back to being a girl.

Chapter 7:

“How can you understand him? He’s a dog.” Kiba said shocked, with his mouth dropped open. Sasaki only giggled. “You keep forgetting, Miokshu is a wolf, so I can understand dogs because I have him.” Sasaki said rubbing her nose against Akamaru’s nose. “Oh yea, I do keep forgetting.” Kiba said, putting his hand behind his head, smiling. “Oh and by the way, you don’t have to show-off your fangs, I have them too.” Sasaki said, smiling, showing Kiba her fangs. Kiba just blushed. “Hey do you want to go do something?” Kiba asked. “Well it depends on what it is you want to do. Plus I think we have a mission to do now any way.” Sasaki holding Akamaru in her arms, walking with Kiba out of the training grounds. “Hey, where’s Shino anyway, I haven’t seen him at all today?” Kiba asked. “How would I know Kiba, I was here all day remember.” Sasaki said, looking at Kiba, raising an eyebrow, smiling. Blushing again, Kiba only smiled, giving Sasaki a push, almost knocking her over. “Hey!” Sasaki said, reaching out her arm, activating her Phoenix Fire, and punching him. “Ow! God I hate it when you use that on me.” Kiba said, rubbing his arm. “Well then don’t push me over.” Sasaki said teasingly, sticking out her tongue. As they both giggled, Shino Aburame came running up to them. “You guys, Kurenai-sensei is sick, she said to go on the mission without her. But we need to be careful.” Shino said out of breath. “OK, then let’s get going.” Kiba said, shooting his hand into the air. “Yea! What he said!” Sasaki shouted after him…not paying attention to what he said. Walking in front of Shino and Kiba, giving Akamaru to Kiba, Sasaki walked ahead. Not paying attention to what she was doing, Sasaki walked down the street, tripped and fell. Looking at Shino and Kiba, she burst out into laughter, but blushed a little. “That was weird.” Sasaki said still laughing. Both Shino and Kiba just stared at her and nodded. “OK I need to watch what I’m doing from now on.” Sasaki said standing up, brushing off the dirt off of her legs and clothes. “Well are you guys going to stare at me all day or are we going to go.” Sasaki asked grabbing them each by their hand. “OK, were coming.” Shino said as Sasaki dragged them into the forest outside the gate of Konoha. “Oh by the way, Sasaki, you know, Mizumi Kankuri?” Shino asked grabbing Sasaki by the shoulder. “Yea I know her, why? You want me to try and hook you two up” Sasaki asked, turning around and looking up at Shino. “Oh, no thanks. Are you guys like related or something? You both have the same personality and you guys live in the same house.” Shino said. “Well 1, we don’t live in a house, we live in an apartment. 2, I’m not related to her.” Sasaki said smiling at Shino. “Well why do you live together then?” Shino asked. “I told you, she is my best friend. We’ve known each other since we were born practically, and we went through the same thing in our past.” Sasaki said turning around, facing away from Kiba and Shino, activating her Phoenix Fire. Noticing her Phoenix Fire running up her fingers, Kiba came up to Sasaki, wrapped his arms around her and told her, “Its ok Sasaki, you don’t have to say anymore. You’re going to burn the bandages off if you keep activating your Phoenix Fire.” looking at Shino, giving him a growl to tell him lay-off. Getting the message, Shino backed up a bit. “No I’ll tell you.”

Chapter 8:

“Hey Choj!” Shikamaru called after Choji, who was leaving the Barbeque house. “Oh hey guys. What’s up?” Choji said, looking at Shikamaru and Mizumi. “What’s wrong with Mizumi?” Choji asked looking at Mizumi, whose eyes were all red from the crying outburst. “What do you mean Choji? I’m fine.” Mizumi told him, laughing. “Me and Shikamaru just went out to dinner at the ramen place Naruto always goes to.” Mizumi said throwing herself onto Shikamaru’s back. “Yea we did. Besides you should’ve seen Mizumi when we were training.” Shikamaru said picking Mizumi up on his back. “You mean when I was training.” Mizumi said waving a finger in front of him. “No because I had a practice match too. Don’t you remember?” Shikamaru asked walking down the street next to Choji, with Mizumi on his back. “Oh yea that thing that lasted like 2 seconds was your match?” Mizumi asked. Shikamaru nodded and frowned. “Hey I’m not meaning it in a bad way.” Mizumi said noticing Shikamaru’s sudden unhappiness. “No I know, it’s just I’m so weak.” Shikamaru said. “That you are!” Choji said turning around, walking backwards. “Hey! Choji, you know that’s not true. Shikamaru is like a super genius…That’s what helps us when we don’t know what to do on missions. And even though he doesn’t have many techniques, the shadow imitation technique is a very good one. So don’t say such mean things.” Mizumi yelled at Choji, hugging Shikamaru even more. “Yea I guess your right.” Choji said. “Hey Mizumi, you know Sasaki just went out on a mission today, they’re supposed to be going to the Land of Waves, to escort a man back to the bridge.” Shikamaru said, looking up at Mizumi, who was still on his back. “Yea…she was telling me this morning. And Shino wouldn’t stop asking about our past. It was kind of annoying.” Mizumi said, leaning her chin on Shikamaru’s shoulder. “Well do you mind if we know?” Choji asked; munching on a bag of potato chips he took out of his bag. “I don’t know it’s kind of a sensitive matter.” Mizumi said, frowning. Realizing that what must have been why Mizumi had the sudden outburst of tears back at the ramen shop, Shikamaru gave Choji a dirty, who must’ve not noticed. “Aw come on Mizumi. You have to tell us.” Choji shouted. “No she doesn’t Choj; if she doesn’t want to tell us then she doesn’t have to.” Shikamaru shouted, kicking Choji since he had both of his arms wrapped around Mizumi’s legs so she wouldn’t fall. “Thanks Shikamaru, but I can tell you guys.”


Chapter 9:

Running over to Kinaki’s side, Lee stayed to see if she was alright, while Neji stood and fought with Gai. “S-s-stop the fighting.” Kinaki mumbled struggling to get up. As Lee helped her sit up, she called over to Neji; “Hey Neji, you can stop fighting now. Look at his belt.” Neji looked at Kinaki, and then looked at Gai’s belt. Both bells were gone! Looking in amazement, Neji turned to Kinaki, who was holding the bells, swinging them back and forth. “You got them.” Neji, Gai, and Lee said in unison. Kinaki smiled and nodded. “Good job Kinaki. Good job all of you.” Gai said, smiling, the light twinkling in his teeth. “Thanks, can we go eat now, I haven’t eating since yesterday morning.” Kinaki asked. “Yea, I’ll treat you guys to something. What do you guys want?” Gai asked. “I’m fine with whatever.” Lee said. “Me too.” Neji said. “Me also.” Kinaki said. “OK how about sushi?” Gai asked, “It’s a good source of vitamins.” Gai continued to say. They all nodded in agreement.
“So Kinaki, you heard about the team, with the really evil-like girl, what’s her name…Sasaki Uchiha right? They’re going to the Land of the Waves for a mission today.” Lee asked slurping down a piece of sushi. “Yea I heard about it…why?” Kinaki asked. “I don’t know, the girl, Sasaki has been rookie of the year in her class for the past 3 years, then her friend Mizumi after, right in 2nd. Like, Neji has been Rookie of the year in our class.” Lee said. “Okay, why do you like her something?” Kinaki asked, moving her chopsticks in front of Lee, waving a piece of sushi side to side like a snake. “No I don’t—“Lee said being cut off. “I’m the one who like her.” Neji said turning a little red. “Really? Why?” Kinaki asked, staring wide-eyed, with Lee. “Because she’s extremely powerful, she knows what she wants, and I think she is very pretty. And I think I can change why she is so angry.” Neji said blushing like crazy. Closing her eyes, smiling a little, Kinaki just giggled, “Well honey, give up, I don’t think there is anybody who can change her. Besides, I know everything about her past. Sasaki, Mizumi, and I are practically the same.” Kinaki said getting up from the table, and walking away.

Chapter 10:

“Are you sure Sasaki, you really don’t have to tell us.” Kiba said, still holding her in her arms, looking at her arms, as the Phoenix Fire kept rising, then lowering, and then rises again, and turning his gaze to her face, which was covered in her dark brown hair. He saw through her hair though, he saw she had her Sharingan activated, and saw she had tears coming down. “No it’s ok, I’ll tell you while we move to pick up Mr. Tazuna.” Sasaki said, deactivating her Phoenix Fire and Sharingan, taking her arms, and putting her hair behind her ears, grabbing Kiba’s arms and holding onto them. While Sasaki walked with Kiba wrapped around her, Shino shook his head. “I saw that Shino” Sasaki said, not turning her head. “How did you see what I did? You didn’t even move your head, plus Kiba’s head would be in the way.” Shino said shocked and turning red. “I’m a girl, I know those things…and, I have the Sharingan remember,” Sasaki said. “Ok first things first, you know my last name is Uchiha right?” Sasaki asked Kiba and Shino. “Yea, but that is your last name.” Kiba asked, grabbing Akamaru with one hand and putting him on the ground, putting his other arm back around Sasaki. “Wrong, My real last name, the one I was born with…is Ogata.” Sasaki said looking at Kiba. “But there are no Ogata’s in Konoha.” Shino exclaimed looking at Sasaki with shock. Kiba just looked at Sasaki, looking a little nervous. “Yes, I know. I’m not from Konoha. I was born in the Sand Village.” Sasaki said. “So you live with your parents, Mizumi Hyuga and her parents?” Kiba asked in astonishment. “No if you let me finish, I’ll explain.” Sasaki said, looking at Kiba angrily. Getting the message that Sasaki was being serious, Shino and Kiba leaned back. “As I was saying, I was born in the Sand Village. When I was born, I was born with an Uchiha blood-line limit, since I’m descendants of Uchiha’s. But when I was born, I was born with the Sharingan in my eyes. I also have my Ogata blood-line limit power, which you should both know by now is my Phoenix Fire. When I was 2, I was able to reactivate my Sharingan and my Phoenix Fire. But I was the first Ogata in over 150 years to inherit the Sharingan, and my father was jealous, thinking I would be Kazekage before him, and overpower him. So he sealed Miokshu within me, which was a mistake on his part, since Miokshu only made me stronger. But when I turned 5, an army of Sound ninjas came and attacked my clan, while we slept,” Sasaki continued, tears filling up her eyes. “I saw my family die, so I ran so I could avenge my clan. But before I could reach Konoha, I was attacked by Orouchimarou. He gave me the curse seal on my neck, trying to force me to join the Sound Village,” Sasaki exclaimed, grabbing Kiba’s hand that rested on her stomach, and pulling the collar on her shirt down so Shino and Kiba could see the curse seal mark. Seeing the tears in her eyes, Kiba stopped, turned to face Sasaki, and hugged her. “How did you escape since you were only 5?” Shino asked coming up to Kiba and Sasaki, putting his hands on her shoulders. “Kakashi-sensei had saved me; I lived with him until I had entered the academy.” Pushing Kiba and Shino away, gently, Sasaki walked up to a tree with a bloody heart shape on it, lightly glided her fingers down the mark, the tears finally being released from her eyes, now pouring down her face. “This is the tree I got to before Orouchimarou had attacked. I was getting ready to put my name with my mother and father’s names.” Sasaki cried, feeling the necklace hanging down from her neck. “And this necklace is my mother’s.” Sasaki cried once more, running into Kiba’s arms, knocking the both of them down. Holding Sasaki, and in shock of how she reacted to this whole conversation, he held her in his arms, laying his chin on the top of her head. “Sasaki, have you ever talked to anyone about this?” Shino asked, walking over to Sasaki, not being able to do anything but bend down, and lay his hand on her back, stoking his hand up and down her back. “No, only Kakashi knows, and the third Hokage.” Sasaki said muffled in Kiba’s jacket. “We have never seen you react like this Sasaki…we know that you will kill your enemies without hesitation. And now we see you pouring out your heart to us so easily, we got shocked at this.” Kiba mentioned, concerned for Sasaki. “Well, you know what, right before my village was attacked, my mother was teaching me this technique, would you like to see it? Then we can get going again. Mr. Tazuna should be right up the road.” Sasaki asked, getting up from the ground in between Kiba’s legs, walking over to a tree. Making a few hand signs, extending her arms, a swirl of pink, blue, and white light swirled at the bottom of Sasaki’s feet. Screaming, Sasaki opened her eyes, and her Sharingan had been activated. A huge sword of light came out from her stomach and shot straight out. Thinking it was going to hit him, Kiba jumped out of the way, but the sword of light swerved out of the way, and hit a tree, slicing it right in two. As the light sword retracted back to Sasaki, it went right through her, splattering blood all over. “Sasaki!” Kiba and Shino shouted out to her as she fell to the ground.


Chapter 11:

“All right!” Choji said jumping in the air obnoxiously. “Hey Choj. Shut it!” Shikamaru said, kicking Choji in the shins. Walking down the street on Shikamaru’s back, Mizumi took a deep breath and explained her past. “Ok, I’m sure by now, Sasaki has explained her past to Kiba and Shino, if I know her. But anyway, I grew up with her ever since we were born. My real last name isn’t Hyuga, its Kankuri. I know there are no Kankuri’s in Konoha, Sasaki’s last name isn’t Uchiha either, it’s Ogata. And there aren’t any Ogata’s or Kankuri’s in Konoha, because me and Sasaki weren’t born in Konoha. We were born in the Sand Village.” Mizumi said, tears beginning to fill her eyes. “Well how did you get here?” Shikamaru asked. “Hold on I’ll tell you. When I was born, I was born with a Hyuga blood-line limit that no one in my clan had inherited. In the Sand Village, the Ogata clan, Sasaki’s clan, was the most powerful clan in the village; next was the Kankuri clan, my clan. My clan’s job was to protect the Ogata’s if anything happened to them. So when I turned 5, an army of Sound ninjas came and attacked the Ogata’s, my clan had went to fight. My mother had told me to hide in the sand caves and not to come out until she came and got me. When I saw her running towards me, I thought it was safe, but a Sound ninja came and killed right in front of me. Her blood was splattered all over me.” Mizumi said, tears coming down her cheeks, and onto Shikamaru’s shoulder’s. Extending her arms in front of Shikamaru’s face, clenching them into a fist, tears began running down her cheeks. “My mother’s killer told me I wasn’t worth spilling blood on his sword. I decided to run. And my fan…it was my mom’s. I also ran with my mother’s necklace. I ran all the way just outside Konoha’s gates but got so exhausted, and fell asleep. I woke up to find Kakashi-sensei walking in my direction, with flowers in one hand, and an orange book…When I used my Byakugan, I saw he had a Sharingan eye, so I thought he was an Ogata like Sasaki, or an Uchiha, but I was wrong. Me and Sasaki had lived with Kakashi-sensei until we were about 8, or when we entered the academy, then we moved into our own apartment and have been there ever since,” Mizumi said, leaning over Shikamaru’s shoulder, and smiled a miserable smile. Leaning back over Shikamaru’s shoulder, Mizumi wiped away her tears and said, “When my mom died, I wish she took me with her, that way I don’t have to live this life alone.” Hearing what she just said, Choji looked at Shikamaru, whistled and walked away. “See ya Shikamaru, see ya Mizumi. Sorry to hear what happened.” Choji said, now running frantically down the street. “What happened to him?” Mizumi asked, putting her chin on Shikamaru’s shoulder, blowing a part of her bangs up with her mouth. “Hey Mizumi, isn’t that your apartment up there?” Shikamaru asked, looking up to the apartment, with a balcony, and a little plant hanging off the side and the door curtains flying in the breeze. “Yep, that’s it. C’mon, I’ll show it to you.” Mizumi said hopping off, grabbing Shikamaru’s hand and running up the stairs.
